Karen’s Delicious Hamburger Baked Beans
We have a long holiday weekend and the kickoff of college football- what can be better? This has us thinking about feeding a crowd and getting out the grill! My Hamburger Baked Beans are simple and hearty! Plus, it pairs well with any cookout menu! Have a great Labor Day!
Here are the simple steps:
Brown ground meat (click here for my no mess method for browning meat).
Combine rest of ingredients in a large bowl with salt and pepper to taste.
Pour into a 5 qt. oven proof container with lid or 2 smaller casserole dishes (Freezes well. Bake one and freeze one).
Cover and bake for 2 hours at 325 degrees.
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
- 1 large onion
- 1 14.5 oz. can tomato sauce
- 3/4 c. brown sugar (packed)
- Family size can Pork n Beans (56 oz.)
- 1 T worstershire
- salt and pepper to taste
