Crawfish Etouffee w/Etouffee Base

Our Etouffee Base is a frozen concentrate designed for crawfish and shrimp and is made with a blonde roux, butter, Louisiana Trinity (onions, celery, and bell pepper) and our signature spice blend.  Add water, shellfish, and season to taste.  Traditionally served over rice but also makes a great topping for grilled or fried catfish or over a catfish Po-boy .




  • 2# (1 Tray) Etouffee Base
  • 2-3 c. Water
  • 12-16oz. Crawfish tails, shrimp, or cubed catfish
  • Salt or Cajun Seasoning to taste

  • Simmer Etouffe base and water for 20 minutes.
  • Add crawfish tails or raw shrimp and simmer 5-7 minutes.
  • Season to taste.
