Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How many servings in each casserole?

Each casserole will feed 3-4 people when served with a couple of side dishes or a nice large salad.  Of course, we recognize that appetites differ in families.  For instance, if you have a couple of active ball playing teenage boys, you might want to pick up an extra casserole and/or add a few more side dishes.

What is your best seller?

Chicken and Dumplings, but everyone has their own personal favorite.  We believe Chicken and Dumplings is the best seller because first of all they are delicious and who really wants to go to the trouble of making those dumplings.  Secondly, they tend to appeal to everyone within the family.  Another great thing about our Chicken and Dumplings is that they can be heated in the microwave or on a stove top from frozen in 15-20 minutes.  You can’t beat that when you have hungry mouths to feed.

Do I have to thaw before cooking my No Time 2 Cook casserole?

We recommend baking our Chicken Pie from frozen, all other products can be prepared from frozen or after thawing.  The directions and cooking times on our packaging are for preparing from frozen, therefore, if product is thawed, it will not take as long to heat as the package directions suggest.

Do you use canned cream soup in your recipes?

Absolutely not!  We cook everything from scratch using whole food ingredients.  For instance, when a recipe calls for a cream sauce, we begin with real butter, flour, and milk just as your grandmothers would have done.

Do you use processed chicken and meat products that are so often found in frozen meals?

No never! We use all natural white meat chicken.

Are No Time 2 Cook products microwaveable?

We recommend baking our Chicken Pie and Chicken and Dressing.  All other casseroles are microwaveable or they can be heated in a non-stick skillet on the stove top.

Is the container really safe in the oven or the microwave?

Yes.  Our containers are made for the freezer, microwave, or oven up to 400 degrees.  We do recommend placing the container on a cookie sheet before going in the oven.  We also suggest placing a piece of aluminum foil between the container and the cookie sheet to catch any spills or bubble-overs.  Then clean up is a real snap.

What if I live alone and don’t want to prepare the entire package?

Great question!  Read Karen’s blog with directions on how to prepare only one or two servings.

I don’t live near a retailer who carries No Time 2 Cook, how can I get your products?

We have an online store for residential delivery with addresses within our one delivery area. Just go to our product page to select the products you wish to order.

Why do I have to buy in multiples of 7 when I shop online?

You are actually purchasing a cooler of No Time 2 Cook products when you shop our online store.  Each cooler holds 7 products and you get to choose the six that go into your cooler.   Since they come frozen, our customers enjoy the convenience of always having a delicious “made from scratch” home-style meal on hand.  We suggest keeping bags of steamable frozen veggies in your freezer as well.  Then you’re always prepared to feed your family on those busy nights when there really is no time to cook.
