All About Us

No Time 2 Cook began five years ago when owner, Karen Kurr, cooked up and froze her best recipes in family-size containers and hauled it all to a little flea market in Jackson, Ms.  Her efforts resulted in many happy customers, empty coolers, and a business venture on the horizon.

Though raised in Mississippi, Karen has deep roots in south Louisiana, so it’s no surprise that her claim to fame began with Cajun dishes such as Seafood Gumbo, Crawfish Etouffee, and Shrimp & Crab Corn Bisque. To satisfy the varied tastes of her many customers, Karen also offers a wide range of delicious Southern dishes and desserts, such as “Home Style” Chicken Pie, “Stone Ground” Baked Grits, Caramel Cake, and much more.

No Time 2 Cook’s fine frozen food items are enjoyed in 12 locations around Mississippi, Tennessee and Arkansas including The Mustard Seed in Oxford and The Higher Ground in Hernando, Ms.  Today, No Time 2 Cook has graduated from ice chests to a freezer trailer, and you can still find Karen at several local farmers’ markets including The Belhaven Market in Jackson, Ms and The Agricenter and The Memphis Farmers’ Market in Memphis, Tn.
