No Time 2 Cook is a gourmet frozen food company in Oxford, MS specializing in Cajun and Southern fare
Coming from a family of “foodies” and great Southern cooks, owner, Karen Kurr, began the business 6 years ago as a true cottage industry. She renovated a room in her home into a commercial kitchen, obtained a Mississippi Health Department license, and began selling her “home cooked”, “from scratch”, family recipes at farmers’ markets, festivals, and flea markets from Jackson to Memphis.
In October of 2010, No Time 2 Cook moved into a 4500 square foot USDA/FDA food plant on the north end of Oxford. They are the only USDA small casserole food plant under a USDA federal label allowing them to wholesale their entire menu selection anywhere in the country.
No Time 2 Cook currently has 70 plus retail establishments selling their products. These retail locations include gourmet groceries, meat markets, florists, pharmacies, gifts shops, jewelry stores, and and a number of other eclectic locations such as a lumber yard in Yazoo City and a feed and seed store in downtown Clarksdale.
